Updated over 10 months ago

Is the User Data Going into the SafeOpt Network De-identified?

  • Suppression Lists: The data you provide for suppression lists is hashed and not co-mingled with other client data.

  • Co-op Data: The data generated for SafeOpt® identity graph services is not de-identified. However, other clients or brands cannot view or target your specific identity graph data. The co-op data is limited to:

    • Email address

    • IP address

    • Phone number

    • Browser characteristics

    • Cookies and session information in local storage

Is the Data Associated with Our Users Only Used for Services to Our Company, or Is It Used for Other Clients as Well?

  • Suppression list data, product details, order information (e.g., order ID, product name/price/image, coupon codes, etc.): This data is used exclusively to provide services to your company and is not shared with other clients.

  • Co-op data (used for the SafeOpt® identity graph): This data is used to match shoppers across our network, benefiting all co-op clients. However, personally identifiable data is never shared directly with other clients. Only insights derived from the identity graph data are shared. Co-op data is solely used for identity graph services, which are available only to co-op members.

Who Has Access to the Data Regarding Visitors Who Visited Our Website in the Data Co-op?

  • Only AddShoppers/SafeOpt® and our service providers have access to this data.

  • In the case of a legal proceeding, law enforcement request, or business sale, we reserve the right to disclose this information under limited circumstances.

What Happens to Our Data if the Agreement is Terminated?

  • Suppression Lists & Campaign Data: These can be deleted if our agreement is terminated.

  • SafeOpt® Data Co-op & Identity Graph Data: This data cannot be deleted.

If We Receive a Request to Delete a User’s Data, Can SafeOpt Delete That Data from the System?

Yes, if a user requests data deletion, you can direct them to this link. There, they can claim their data, validate their identity, and have it removed from our system.
